I know we're all pleased that spring has finally sprung, but I've had a sudden flurry of e-mails about availability over the winter months. So if you are having your wedding in the winter here is a perfect example of how to stay warm and look fabulous at the same time!
From Amy and Chris's wedding in Essex. I promise to do something a bit warmer tomorrow!
I'd forgotten about these rather unusual place settings until today when I was refreshing backups from a few years ago.
You remove the backing paper, cover it with soil, water it and wait a while. Eventually a crop of wild flowers will appear! Alternatively you could put it in a bowl, mix vigorously with milk and hey presto - wedding muesli!
Sticking with the Italian Job here is St Peter's at night:
Only the eyeball can really do justice to the sheer scale of some things in Italy. The dome of St Peter's rises to very nearly 450ft (if you stood at the top of Beachy Head you would only just be looking down on it) and you could fit a traditional Victorian terraced house through the door in the middle - try to visual that and you will start to get some sort of perspective on this... then you go inside and your chin hits the floor!
Happy Priests being mobbed by their adoring fans outside St Peter's:
Rome is fabulous, but one of the things that impressed me most was all the happy priests everywhere! I wasn't expecting this, religion always seems a bit miserable over here. Wherever you go in Rome though you bump into happy priests taking in the sights and laughing away in the ice cream queues. You can even buy a happy priests 2013 calendar - Nina did.
If you haven't been to Rome you should just to see all the happy priests. And stay at Tutto Tondo, but more of that another time...
