It's been a very busy couple of weeks, so yesterday I decided to go wandering over the Downs as I haven't had much chance lately. There are some fantastic poppy displays around, some of the best I have seen for years. I found this one a couple of miles south of Firle Beacon:
It was such a wonderful day (finally) that I got a bit carried away and ended up doing a 15 mile round trip and despite being a bit tired I think it was worth it!
